Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) is a calorimetric method used to measure the heat capacity of the sample as a function of temperature. The sample and a reference material which does not undergo any transition over a wide range of temperature heated at a programmed rate of heating and the heat capacity of the sample measured as a function of differential heat flow rate between the sample and reference material. Differential Photocalorimetry (DPC) measures the heat absorbed or released by a material as it is exposed by ultraviolet radiation in a temperature-controlled environment. |
